Happy Tails

  • Greta (formally Missy)

Adopted in March 2020, she is now living her best life on the Cape. She enjoys walking the wooded trails and also running on the tidal flats of the Cape. She is a true New Englander now enjoying the ocean and beach sand between her toes.

  • Max

Max landed himself in the most fabulous forever home! He brings so much love and joy to them and vice versa. This will always remain one of my most favorite rescue stories.

“Good morning! Max wanted me to remind you that today marks one year that he came into our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

  • Navy (formally Navie)

Adopted in May 2020, he is now almost 2 and living his absolute best life!!! Thank you so much for adopting him 💕

  • Nugget (formally Marzia)

From life on the streets to Queen of the castle!! Nugget is living the life of luxury. She has a wonderful family and plenty of friends to play with. This is the story we love. Thank you for adopting.

  • Kirby (formally Wade)

Kirby was from the “W” puppies and is such a love. Would love to hear from the other adopters of the W litter. I hope they are all spoiled and loved too!

  • Stella & Millie (formally General Mills)

Do you remember Stella and General Mills (aka Millie)??? They are doing GREAT!!!! They have so much fun every day! Stella has worked her way up to a 5 mile trail run and Millie could go for days! They love to chase each other, swim and go running. They have quite the life! They still don't like the cats, so we "share" the house!

  • Lexi & Mudslide

“I thought I’d share some Cenla alumni. This is Lexi (formerly Margarita) & Mudslide. They are from the same litter. They just turned 5 yesterday! I rescued Lexi & my friend rescued Mudslide so they get to see each other regularly. They enjoyed their 5th birthday with toys, treats & lots of pets. They are the best girls. Thank you so much for rescuing them!” - Miranda

  • Molly

“Greetings from Molly, who turned 9 on July 20th. We’ve had her a year now and she is sweet with quite the personality! We found out she loves to swim! Hope you’re well and enjoying the summer.”

  • Pip

“We rescued Pip from you guys in November of 2017. He now has a toddler human, an acre of land to play on, daily 6 mile runs with dad, and two kitty siblings! We are so thankful for you all for bringing us Pip. He is the biggest blessing and arguably the most important member of our family! He’s now 4.5 years old and our best, best friend. He is also now a registered emotional support animal and I hope to incorporate him in reading intervention programs in the future!”

  • Hunter

“It's been a month since Hunter came home and overall things are going well. He has mastered sit and stay and has learned commands to use the bathroom and today he finally laid down on command. He's starting to enjoy toys and he and my other dog Cruz are slowly building a bond. I've included a photo as well. He is gentle and kind with my children. He's a good dog. Hope all is well.”

  • Ran

“Ran, adopted in 2019, just had his 5th birthday. YAY!!! 🎂🎉 Cheers to this handsome guy, who my son and I couldn't imagine our lives without. He enjoyed a nice bully stick and pumpkin ice cubes to combat this heat wave we are having here in Boston. I think he is smiling for the camera 😍”

  • Harvie

Update on our special girl Harvie now known as Chocorua or Cori, Cora and Cookie Butt! This special girl is deaf and blind in one eye. She landed herself into an amazing family and is settling in nicely with their pack!!

  • Juno (formally Primrose)

“We can’t believe it’s been a year since we adopted Juno. ! We love her so much and can’t imagine life without her. Thank you so much for all you did to raise such a happy, healthy pup. Here are a few recent pictures. She loves going on adventures and she’s so incredibly smart. A couple months ago we competed in an AKC obedience trial with her and she did great! We couldn’t ask for a better dog.”
